Take a Break Foods (TAB) is committed to producing premium foods with as many local, Canadian ingredients as possible while keeping them budget-friendly and delicious. Take a Break Foods started in 2024 based at Kitchen Connect in Esquimalt, a shared commissary kitchen. From there, it built out a food factory and expanded operations to Amy road in Langford. Many important connections continue from the times at Kitchen Connect, such as meeting the Mustard Seed, and South Island Farm Hub team, and many more. With many decades of culinary, and restaurant ownership experience, TAB's team is able to produce frozen dishes that grocery stores and markets resell quickly. The delicious foods are made with tried and true recipes, and real ingredients, without preservatives or additives.
